"Granddad Stake Member"
Hey there, I'm a granddad member of Stake. I've been hit with an ultimatum to upgrade if I wanna keep trading. Now, I'm being informed that while I'm trying to do that, it’s not available in my country and not on my device either. How long's it gonna take to fix this? Martin Green 🙄

"Finally got it sorted out"
It took a bit of time to figure things out, but I managed in the end. I had 18k stuck with them, and their customer support was pretty slow to get back to me. I couldn't log into the platform using any device—PC, mobile, or iPad—which was super stressful. This issue dragged on for a few days with no sign of getting better. At first, I couldn't access it on my PC, then it shifted to the iPad, and eventually, the mobile app was also a no-go. I sent them screenshots, but all I got back was to check my location, which I’ve done every single time. Update: finally got it sorted out in the end.

"Just got a new phone and ran into a snag..."
I recently got myself a new phone and totally forgot to switch my authentication app over. Now, I’m stuck trying to log into my STAKE mobile app without the code I need. I’ve shot off three emails to STAKE, but no one has gotten back to me.

"Top-notch platform for NZ and AUS traders"
I've been using Stake for about six months, and honestly, they’re the top choice for Kiwis and Aussies wanting to dive into the U.S. market. The fees are pretty reasonable, and their support team is always there when you need them. If you're thinking about getting into stock investing, this is definitely the way to kick things off.

"Slow and pricey experience!"
The portfolio transfer took forever! It was a whole month before my assets moved from SelfWealth to Stake. I held off on trading since it could mess up the transfer. Stake claimed, "we didn't get your email," but I had responded to their message THREE times! In the end, you really do get what you pay for.

"Terrible Experience with Hellostake Australia!"
My experience with Hellostake Australia has been nothing short of awful. Honestly, if I could, I'd rate them a big fat zero! They really messed up my account because of a glitch in their system, and in the process, they took over $600 of my funds while trying to fix their own problem. I'm still waiting for them to sort it out. It's just ridiculous!

I tried to withdraw $700 from my AUS stake account on 9/12/2021, thinking it would be quick like other Aussie platforms. But nope, nothing happened until 13/12/2021. When I called to check on it, they told me they had just started processing my withdrawal and needed me to reply to their email. To my shock, they had sent me an email just 3 minutes prior asking for my personal details (like my date of birth) through Gmail before they could release my funds. I reminded them that sharing sensitive info via Gmail is super risky, and I wasn't about to take that chance. Instead, I offered to give them the info over a secure phone line. After I did that, they told me I still had to wait a few more days to see the money in my bank account. So here I am, still waiting for it to show up on 15/12/2021! Can you believe it? Are they playing with my money before sending it to my bank, considering I withdrew it on 9/12/21? I really hope not.

By the way, when I called them, I also shared my negative experience and urged them to improve their service for the sake of their customers. Whether they actually care or not is anyone's guess.

"total scam"
total scam! my cash never made it back to my account after the transfer, they’ve snatched £5000 from me without any justification and are now denying me a refund. it’s been nearly a month and no fix has been provided. steer clear of this if you want to protect your funds. I’ve had to turn to higher-ups to sort this out. but seriously, STAY AWAY FROM THIS.

"Extremely disappointing and deceptive website"
This site is just plain awful and misleading. You sign up for a promotion, but the reality is a whole different tale. Customer service is around, but they just end up making things more confusing without fixing anything. They come up with all kinds of lame excuses. Even when you show proof, it’s always someone else’s fault, never theirs. Seriously, just steer clear of this scam site.

"Support is Lacking"
Support is seriously lacking. I put some cash in, but it never showed up in my account. I searched high and low but couldn't find any email or phone number to get help with this issue.

"Improvements Needed for Platform and Support"
Things started off pretty well a few years back, I thought, but then new regulations rolled in. I'm on the verge of selling my stock before the prices drop further, and then I get hit with a 'warning!! reminder!!'. I ended up losing a significant amount of cash as the stock prices I was dealing with kept plummeting. Also, I gotta say, the Customer Service could use a serious upgrade; they treat you like you’ve done something wrong - that’s not how it should be. Customer support ought to assist, not make you feel like a criminal. It’d be great if you could enhance your platform so we don’t have to reach out to customer service as much.

"Awful support experience"
Awful support experience. I asked to shut down my account back in November last year, got a confirmation saying it was done, and even followed up with support since I could still access my account. Lately, I’ve been getting emails asking me to revalidate my account, so I reached out to support again, and they claimed they had no record of my account being closed. If they can’t handle that basic request, I wouldn’t put my faith in them for anything else.
